JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Engine/component Builder

Nicholson Mclaren Aviation is looking to employ an Experience Motor Mechanic for their busy Aviation engine overhaul department. Our engineering shop is situated south of Reading and has been operational since 2006. Since then we have grown and expanded considerably and because of such growth we are looking for a proactive, talented individual to join us as we look to expand our team for the future.

Our core business is in repairing and overhauling general aviation piston engines and subcomponents.

Key duties

Working in the engine and component department you will be repairing and overhauling Air-cooled piston engines, cylinder assemblies, Magnetos (ignition Systems), Carburetors, fuel injectors and other engine related components.

Previous aviation experience is preferred but not required as full on the job training will be given

The ideal candidate will have:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Aviation Logistics Administrator

Nicholson Mclaren Aviation is looking to employ an Aviation Stores Person for their busy Aviation Stores Department. Our engineering shop is situated south of Reading and has been operational since 2006. Since then we have grown and expanded considerably and because of such growth we are looking for a proactive, talented individual to join us as we look to expand for the future.

Our core business is in repairing and overhauling general aviation engines and subcomponents.

Key duties

Working in the stores department you will be responsible for receiving goods from domestic and international suppliers and customers, inputting data onto Aerotrac PC software.

Maintaining full traceability of parts in paper and electronic format in accordance with CAA regulations.

Shipping out domestically and internationally, including repair and returns, and ensuring the goods are processed with documentation to aviation regulation standard.

Inspecting goods on arrival for correct aviation paperwork, correct parts and full traceability. Preparing goods received orders for internal distribution.

Working off picking lists for work projects and sales orders.

Some lifting will be required.

Perform other general warehouse duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

•Previous aviation stores experience preferable

•Excellent attention to detail

•Safety conscious

•Be used to working to deadlines

•Must be computer literate

•Have good communication skills

•Be a strong Team Player

•Able to use own initiative
