Alex’s Jaguar XJR saloon has been converted to manual and given a limited-slip differential amongst other upgrades, to make the hefty leather-clad retro maroon saloon as quick as possible on the quarter mile.
Hoping to beat presenter Richard Hammond in his XJR, Alex commissioned Jaguar specialist Tom Lenthall to undertake all the work.
Tom is neighbour to Nicholson McLaren Engines, and we offered the use of our state-of-the-art Hub Dyno to do a before and after run to see how much the car had improved in power and torque.
